outstandingGabriella Giordano is from San Jose California, pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering at LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.  She is finishing her junior year and is an active leader on campus. Gabriella is the Resident Assistant on her dormitory floor and has a strong desire to create a supportive community for dorm and her school. Along with working on campus as the Administration Athletics Coordinator, she was selected to participate on the Senior Design Project, “Safehome”, and will be attending the competition with her team at John Brown University later this year. As the Treasurer of the LETU SWE chapter, she has exercised extreme financial responsibility, and tripled the funds raised the previous year in the annual fall fundraiser. Gabriella is an outstanding member because she is always willing to help with tasks and is passionate about outreach events. Gabriella was recently elected chapter president for FY18 and will do a great job in this position with her excellent leadership skills, organization, and positive attitude.

Gabriella is also a member of American Society of Civil Engineers.  On weekends, she volunteers with Habitat for Humanity. In her free time, she enjoys playing intramural sports, riding dirt bikes, building things, and working on cars. Her future career goals include working as a project manager at a civil engineering firm and at some point in life build an orphanage to help out children in need.
